LETTERS FROM OUR AWARD WINNERS

Konstantine Papadopoulos (2004), Miami University
I am writing this letter in regards to my acceptance of your scholarship award. I would like to express my gratitude again through this letter and through my future success. The banquet in Chicago on the 21st of October was an excellent gathering of philhellenes and a great experience for me as a recipient of the PanHellenic award.

...As I was speaking at the podium, I felt proud for my heritage, my culture, and my family and I found that the best way to express these feelings was to speak in my native language. I would again like to thank all the supporters that were present at this event and I would like to wish the best success to your organization. Hellenism must be spread through the world and mainly among the omogenia that is slowly forgetting its roots. I would like to make a promise to you on behalf of the great honor I was given. I will do my hardest to succeed with my studies and to further progress towards my goal of attaining a career in medicine. Again I sent "xilia euxaristo" from myself and from my family.
