I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincerest apologies to you and the many members of the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation for not having thoroughly thanked you for the generous award of $10.000.

Upon receiving your congratulatory letter, I felt blessed and humbled for knowing that I was selected as a scholarship recipient amongst hundreds of deserving young Greek-American students.

This award is a godsend, as my family's financial hardships and my brother's battle against cancer impeded my ability to attend college. The PanHellenic Scholarship award has not only provided me with financial relief, but also has given me hope and renewed my enthusiasm to continue my studies in the effort of following in my ancestor's footsteps.

In recognizing the difficulty of making these scholarship awards possible, I hope that I too will be able to contribute to the Foundation in the effort of promoting Hellenism.
