The PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation Is Thrilled to Receive a 2017 Hellenic Foundation Chicago Grant
02/24/2017

The PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation is thrilled to announce that it is a grant recipient of the 2017 Hellenic Foundation Grant Program. The $10,000 grant will be used to offer a scholarship to an exceptional and deserving Greek American undergraduate at the PanHellenic's Awards Ceremony & Gala on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Hilton Chicago.

The PanHellenic's partnership with the Hellenic Foundation Chicago is exciting for both organizations, as it furthers each of their missions and promotes education and Hellenism among Greek American students. Through this scholarship, the Hellenic Foundation will directly support a PanHellenic Scholar and help ease the financial burden of earning a college education, as well as recognize their academic achievements. In turn, the PanHellenic is enthusiastic about the opportunity to partner with another respected Hellenic organization, and continue to fulfill its partnership growth initiative.

Robert A. Buhler, Chairman of the Board of the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation, said, "We are excited and honored to have received this significant grant from the Hellenic Foundation, and proud that we have the opportunity to work together with this organization. The Board is very grateful to the Hellenic Foundation for their generosity, and for helping us further our mission to promote education and Hellenism. Together, our two organizations will be able to support the best and brightest Greek American college students in the country as they pursue their undergraduate degrees, and we are looking forward to partnering with the Hellenic Foundation in the future."

William P. Vranas, Chairman of the Grant Committee of the Hellenic Foundation, said,
"We look forward to working with the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation in providing this scholarship to a PanHellenic Student from the Chicagoland area, recognizing their academic achievements and financial need."

The 2016/17 scholarships will be presented at the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation's Awards Ceremony & Gala on Saturday, June 17, 2017. The gala will be held at the Hilton Chicago, and the evening will be hosted by Miss America 2016, Betty Cantrell. We invite you to join us in June to celebrate our exceptional award recipients!
